• Description: The Advancing Fresno County Guaranteed Income Program offers a monthly supplement of $500 for one year to 150 households with young children (5 and under) in southwest Fresno and Huron, addressing concentrated poverty in these areas. Applications open on March 15th, 2024 and initial payments commence in summer 2024. Applications will close on May 15, 2024.

  *How will participants be selected*

  Our research partners at the Center for Community Voices at Fresno State will use a lottery process to select eligible applicants who have completed the intake process to participate in the program. An equal number of 75 participants each will be selected from southwest Fresno and Huron.

  If a selected application is ineligible or withdraws their application, we will randomly select additional applications and review those until 150 eligible applications have been enrolled.

• Eligibility: -Must reside in zip code 93706 or 93234.
  -Must be pregnant or have one or more young child between the ages 0-5.
  -Must earn $30,615 or less annually for zip code 93706.
  -Must earn $35,103 or less annually for zip code 93234.
• Requirements: If you are selected in the lottery process, you will be asked to provide documentation that shows your eligibility based on all three criteria.
